With a bang, the Sagwan Sagip Taal Lake Dragon Boat Festival was launched at the spacious grounds of Club Balai Isabel, a first-class residential resort located right along the shores of the world famous Taal Lake in the Municipality of Talisay, Province of Batangas on October 8, 2022.
Alpha’s trio of Joon Navarro, Bing Duay and Jhing Montes participated in the photo contest undaunted by the presence of more seasoned photographers who also competed for any one of the top 3 spots that were up for grabs.
The photo contest organized and spearheaded by Sir Chito Cleofas was made part of the event to generate the images to be used in their campaign to save Taal Lake, promote the area as a local tourism and world-class international sports destination as well as a get-away sanctuary, anybody can visit all year round.
As the top place finisher, Jhing was awarded a complimentary overnight stay for two (2) at Club Balai Isabel, gift certificates worth 10,000 pesos and an aqua flask.
With a gorgeous view all around, Alpha Camera Club wouldn’t mind a scheduled OTS photo adventure tour of the picturesque town of Talisay one of these days.
For sure, Taal Lake wouldn’t mind as well.
