Rightly so because on May 22, 2022 during our monthly meeting, newbies Jeremiah and Jaycee won 1st place in the “Find Your Best Spot Category” and “On the Spot Model Competition” respectively, to cap our out-of-town activity held at the Punta Verde Resort in Lobo, Batangas last May 7-8.
The venue was at Breward Café along Las Pinas, MM where Alpha Camera Club held its monthly meeting for the third time. Our esteemed judges namely Bing Duay and Edsel Alcares were on hand to rank the best among the entries and declare the top 3 winners for each category.
The meeting was also timely because it presented a chance to celebrate the birthday of Ka Dewey Sergio who may not have been fortunate enough to top the photo contest but very lucky indeed for being at the receiving end of two pouty kisses on both cheeks from each of our guest models.
The last time we had a face-to-face judging of entries was a few months before the pandemic more than 2 years ago and everybody felt pleased, comfortable, and very happy to be able to do this again because nothing is better than actual fellowship celebrated among peers and friends.
As we grapple with the reality that things would never go back to the old normal the way we used to see, Alpha Camera Club will continue to do what is necessary in service to its members in pursuit of improving our skills.
Our congratulations to the top 3 winners and to everybody who took the time to be there as we try to come up with more exciting club activities for the rest of the year.
