Edsel started shooting photographs in his college days when he was only 19 or 20 years old. He learned sometime in 1988. His first camera was a Pentax K1000. Photography was his hobby for relaxation. People are his favorite subject to shoot.

He joined Alpha Camera Club in 2011. His helpful tip from being a member of the club is to observe the masters do it and ask questions then apply on your own what you learned from them. He encourages photography enthusiasts to join a club because it is more fun learning and applying what you learn together. The advice he’ll give to future members of Alpha is, “it is free to ask so, do not hesitate.”

Edsel is a graduate of University of San Carlos Technological Center with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a mechanical engineer who’s been working on fuels and lubricants for 27 years now.
